Synopsis:  The story follows a group of British soldiers led by a mentally scarred captain as they await a major German offensive. As tensions rise and resources dwindle, the soldiers must confront their fear and mortality, while grappling with the senselessness of war. The film explores themes of duty, sacrifice, and the human cost of conflict.
