Synopsis: The film follows Shmuel, a Hasidic cantor, who becomes deeply troubled and obsessed with the decomposition process of his recently deceased wife’s body. Unable to find solace in his religious teachings, Shmuel turns to science for answers. He enlists the help of Albert, a jaded biology professor, and together, they embark on a macabre and unconventional journey to understand the physical and spiritual aspects of death. The film explores themes of grief, faith, and the intersection of science and religion, as the two men form an unlikely friendship in the face of mortality.
